The problem is, that hwclock says it couldnt deal with the epoch.

I came up with some kind of work-around. I normaly run NTP server in
client mode. In the init script for xntpd I set date to 2000-01-01. This
fixes the epoch. Then I use ntpdate do get exact date.

Well, while I'm writing this, I have another problem. I have ZLXp-E2
graphic card installed. I can use shipped kernel, but if I try to compile
my own kernel, it won't perform correctly. The farthest way I came was to
omit TGA FB support from kernel. That way I got working system, but with
unusable console. If I include TGA FB support, it switches to some low-res
mode (640x480 I guess), but it hangs there.

What are the correct settings regarding the 'general setup' (SRM, PCI,
etc.) settings and regarding frame-buffer devices?
