booting from RH cd

Because of previous problems, I've just decided to reinstall and bood from a
RH6.2 cd. But when I give the following cmd ...

>>> boot dka0 -fi /kernels/generic.gz -fl root=/dev/scd0

This find the cd rom but results in ...
...
Partition Check
VFS: Cannot open root device 0b:00
Kernel Panic VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 0b:00

Am I not using the correct dev?

Any help much appreciated?
