but i have a simple to answer question. after following this mailinglist
for a while, i see that everyone is talking about 'noname alpha pci
motherboards'. if i understand this right, these are boards made by
dec and can be used as replacements for intel based pc motherboards.
so far, so fine.
i have got one of these early dec axp pc's (sold to developers in
these first days of windows nt, i think dec pc 200 was the name) with
an eisa bus and an adaptec 1740 disk controller plus some vga
compatible graphics card. this machine is running WindowsNT. fine.
my questions are:
-does linux (BLADE ?) support this machine ?
-if not: will it be supported one day ?
-if yes: can linux coexist with nt on this box ?
