gpm working---sort of

gpm-0.98.3 seems to work reasonably well with a serial mouse (I don't
have a PS/2 motherboard so I don't know whether it would work with a
PS/2 mouse as well). Cut & paste works most of the time.
Occasionally, it acts weird though: it looks as if it gets out of sync
with the serial mouse. This usually can be fixed by clicking and
moving the mouse a little. I suspect the serial driver or the cabling
of my motherboard, but don't know for sure yet. Also, I may be doing
something wrong as I have never used GPM before. In any case, it
certainly works well enough to be useful.
The above version of GPM works more or less out of the box. Only a
few changes to the Makefile were needed. If anybody wants the patched
source, let me know and I'll put it up for ftp.
