FYI, I'm going to release the networking stuff we've done so far as
an update to BLADE. This is an updated version of 1.2.8 with a bunch
of networking patches, and a set of networking clients and servers.

We can do telnet/rlogin/ftp to/from an Alpha box now 8-)

I'll post an announcement (probably later today) when this will all
be available.
