Are some more detailed docs (possibly schematics) available from DEC for the
AXPpci (NoName) board? I have the OEM design guide, but it doesn't detail
where in the physical memory space some things are like the 64k of NVRAM and
the flash PROM programming control.
Is that a PC BIOS chip on the board? (The one with the Phoenix marking.)
If so, I assume it is to configure (via the 286 emulation) the ISA stuff.
I assume it would be possible to write a PALcode/console loader so one
could swap between the ARC and Linux PALcode/consoles? If the images
were kept on a boot partition as a kind of secondary boot program, it
would make switching between NT and Linux easier. I do have the
PALcode for Alpha AXP Microprocessors document, so it looks doable.
