However, gcc supposedly doesnt handle cross-compiling between platforms
of different word size (x86 and alpha...), so thats out..
What is running on your alpha, tho? You should be able cross compile
from bsd, I'd think.. Or osf.. or even NT (gcc-nt was jsut released, so...)
