It might be interesting to run OSF/1 executables - just like SCO executables on
i386, it expands the range of usable software.
However, I think the most important thing is to get shared libraries soon,
because building a useful distribution depends on it - compatibility may be
added afterwards.
If adding compatibility later means a complete re-work of the code, I would
suggest doing it right in the first place, otherwise I would suggest a quick
solution.
