Great!

I was just about to do that myself when your mail arrived :-) However, looking
at your patch, my attempt would most probably have been wrong. Is there any
reason why in similar positions in other sources (sg_ioctl, sr_ioctl), there is
*no* checking for the correct length of the structures?

I applied your patch to a 1.3.28 kernel, and my Tandberg TDC4120 works great!

BTW: 1.3.30 would not compile (copy_to_fs and copy_from_fs are not found from
time.o if I remember right).
