Have you tried mkbb? It'll be in /usr/local/bin on Blade systems
and /usr/bin on Red Hat ones. The syntax is 'mkbb lxboot /dev/sdsomething'.
Of course I may not have that quite right.
The 'lxboot' file is in /usr/local/bin or /usr/lib.
