Hello everyone!

I've been experimenting with Alpine-motherboard and BLADE 0.2. The problems
I have encountered so far are:

1. Unable to use MILO for booting. I have SRM console version X4.4-4165
dated 3-Oct-95. I also have ARC-console, should I use that? The current
boot I use is done by cpboot from Alpine-SRM-bootfloppy. I have 2 gig scsi
drive. Any reports of succesful Alpine installations with MILO?

2. I have network with few Suns and one 386-linux and the Alpha. Telnet and
other networking works fine between Suns and Alpha, but now between
Linux/386 and Alpha-Linux. Ping from 386 to Alpha returns -1 and message:
"sendto: Permission denied." Ping from Alpha to Linux reports duplicate
replies. This occurs only between the two linux-machines.

3. Problems with BLADE0.2: In /etc/rc (or was it rc.net) there it tries to
remove /etc/nologin, but there is a typo, /etc/nologic. Second thing is
that mount-command does not handle NFS. Passwd doesn't work for ordinary
users (tries to write /etc/ptmp). DNS doesn't work with network bins. I
installed new binaries and it seems to work just fine now.

These are probably reported already, but just in case..
