Video setup problems solved, found new ones. :)

I found out what my original problem with the video card was - don't stick
the PCI card in the shared slot. I stuck the card in another slot and it
almost worked fine.

Presently, the video images flickers. The monitor still receives a video
signal of some sort, but the text fades in and out, mostly out. I have
checked this with a second monitor, and it is not the monitor. I am
going to have the video card tested soon; hopefully it is not a hardware
problem with the motherboard, but this is wierd. (No, none of the connections
are loose, either.)

Currently, I am trying to figure out why it thinks my floppy is a 2.88 meg
floppy and why it is locking up on the boot disk when it is trying to map
the drive into memory. (When booting the boot disk, I am getting errors
on the PCI initialization code, it thinks the floppy is a 2.88 meg floppy,
and it is finding IDE drive hdb with zero heads despite the fact it has
no IDE drives, and I am getting an unexpected trap in the boot process.

Ah, the wonders of the bleeding edge. ;)
