This looks like the old problem of writing a "minlabel" partition table
onto a disk that previously held an MSDOS/fdisk partition table, and the
magic number that the MSDOS partition table probe routine looks for is
*STILL THERE*. It then tries to interpret the partition table as its own
when it is *NOT*.

Solution: use the new "minlabel" in BLADE-0.3, it will detect this situation
and correct it... :-)
