Thanks a million, Dave, for informing me to get away from
the problem I was facing. As you told me, "dd if=vmlinux.stripped.gz
of=/dev/rfd0 obs=18k" on my Sparc Station made my life a lot easier.
Downloaded subset files are also done in ext2 file system as well as
minlabel_root_floppy.gz and fdisk_root_floppy.gz. And I am now pleased
to tell that I have succeeded in displaying the fvwm screen in X window.
I found it quite comfortable and above all quite FAST.
It was really exciting long week until I have done it. Particularly
on November 15 when new subsets including x in BADE_0.3 were supplied,
it was very interesting because the files before I started downloading
and after were different. Namely I was just happened to be downloading during files
were uploaded in gatekeeper.dec.com. I am happy to realize there are
so many good people around.
