Are all 4 simm's the same: good 36 bit * 4M, not 33 bit or 32 bit?
Some Intel board's accept also the other simm's.
You can verify the simm's by first testing with only 2 of the 4 simm's,
if Linux will run well with this 32 MB, then switch to the other 2 simm's.
If Linux will again run well with this 32MB, then all 4 simm's ar ok.
