And rightly so!
ALL Cabrio MB's have 128-bit bus between memory and cache, so you need
4 SIMMs in a bank to satisfy that width (ie 4 2Mb x 32 to give 32Mb total).
There are two banks available, and I believe that a bank can use
SIMMs of a different size from the other bank.
Note that all the LCA-based MB's, such as NONAME and MULTIA and EB66(+) have
only a 64-bit bus 'tween memory and cache, so only 2 SIMMS are required.
Be glad it's only 4; the EB164 (EV5-based) *requires* 8 SIMMs present, as
it's memory-to-cache is 256-bits wide... :-)
