Newbie question---Milo and Jensen

I am new to Linux/alpha (quite an experience with Linux/i486 though).
Seems as if I can get a Jensen board very cheap (then Jensen was used in the
Alpha-PCs sold by Vobis in germany a couple of months ago, correct?)
What bothers me is that it can't boot from floppy or ide disks.

I just read the milo faq. If I am not mistaken, milo is some sort of
replacement of what would be the bios in a normal PC.
However, it doesn't seem to support the Jensen. What is the reason for that?
Could it work in theory? Has somebody tried it out?
