Yes, indeed; NFS client has worked from *way* back, server is there now,
finally (I hear), with the latest LIBC and stuff.
As for installation via NFS, the RedHat Linux 2.1 for Alpha does *very* well
along those lines. BLADE can do NFS install, but not from the very
beginning; you need to get a certain amount of stuff there via floppy/CD
before it becomes practical. Note that this is true of RedHat as well, but
it's limited to 3 floppies.
