Porting it seems to be kind of difficult, because some PAL-Code has to be
rewritten, which seems to be a problem. It is quite easier to use
'aboot', which is a similar loader, but has been ported to JENSEN already.
It has got a lot of nice features like an interactive mode, or the ability
to load kernels from filesystems, even if they are zipped.

It also contains precompiled versions, I think, and documentation how to
start off with only an x86 linux system running.
