I nearly finished porting SVGALib 1.2.9 to Jensen-like hardware now. Please
note, that I've not ported 'vgagl' yet. So, still most of the console graphics
software (povray, mpeg_play, most of the svgalib demos, etc.) do not work right
now. But pur SVGALib software like 'zgv' (a GIF/JPG/TGA/PNG viewer) do work
very stable.
I plan to make the necessary changes public in SVGALib 1.2.10, but do not
flame me when they are in version 1.2.11 for the first time. If someone
could tell me how to generate reliable patch files I will release a patch
against SVGALib 1.2.9 just before christmas (otherwise you have to wait until
next year).
X11 users have to wait until next year, definitely, although I have started on
porting it last week.
I'll wait on soon comments on this mail...
