the latest milo sources are on gatekeeper, they are
milo-1.3.52.tgz and they build against 1.3.48 - 1.3.52 (I haven't
tried 1.3.52 yet). I've put new Cabriolet images into
/test-images and at least both milo.bios.rom and milo.bios work
as those are what I'm running. The new SCSI driver improves the
boot time. One word of warning - when I built a Noname image
using this kernel, Milo crashes someplace in the SCSI driver and
I haven't bothered to go look for a fix. It's rock solid against
1.3.48 however. 1.3.52 runs happily on my Noname however.
Also, there are new eb164 images. I've fixed the PCI
memory/IO problem (there's a general patch that David
Mosberger-Tang will release) and so these latest Milo images
correctly set PCI up. However, I'm still seeing page table
problems and the floppy driver doesn't work in the non-ARC
case (so I'm using ARC). I'll spend some time looking at this
problem.
Finally, although 1.3.52 seems pretty good, I have seen
a problem in the specific case of multiple SCSI disks. I've seen
the system hang on a "rm -rf ./blah" of someplace on a non-root
disk and I've seen the system suffer multiple (and eventually
fatal) kernel crashes when copying from one SCSI disk to another
using "tar -cvf - ./blah | (cd /mnt ; tar xvf -)".
