I have tried at least 3 different Milos including noname/milo.bios.arc,
from memory the size of the files were something like 531k, 519k and about
49xk. After I replaced the ATI Graphics pro turbo (ISA) with a trident 512k
my initial problem of the hangs after switching to PALcode ceased, but now
on start up of MILO I get the messages
....
NVRAM: Not supported on this system
Linux/Alpha Miniloader (MILO) 1.3.34
[BIOS Emulation, WNT ARC loadable, IDE SCSI Floppy, Memory size is 24Mb ]
....

after that the floppy (1.44) is considered a 2.88Mb by "show" and by the kernel
before it panics. The real memory size is 16Mb and I've tried swapping
banks. The boot block floppy I saw on gatekeeper had a size of about 1.2 Mb
I think, so I didn't try it.

I __have__ read the milo how to.

Help.
