I reported a similar problem with NFS to HPUX 9 some months ago. (Linux NFS
is
a bit shaky in general - even on the intel world its outrageously slow.)
Unfortunately it seems that there is nobody with both the equipment and the
time to investiagte this specific linux axp - hpux problem (I have only the
former I'm afraid).
I do have a tcpdump of a mount failing from a linux/axp and working from a
linux/ix86 if that would be of use to anyone who does want to work on this.
It seems that it will only mount on a NFS Version 2 server and not a NFS
version 3.. unable to log in correctly..
