Thanks a lot again. I'd like to experiment your suggested fix, but I lack
the source code for the rpc.nfsd and rpc.mount daemons. I know that such
source code is included in the RedHat distribution, but it is in "rpm"
format and there is no rpm command in the BALDE_0.3 distribution that I
am using... So my question is either "how to install a RedHat package
without running RedHat Linux ?" or "where I can find the source for the
commands included in the BLADE_0.3 distribution ?"
