Shutdown, reboot and reset...

Hopefully this is a simple question... but up to now I haven't found
a fix.

I am running a noname system, based on Red Hat, but I had the same
problem with earlier BLADEs.

However I shutdown the system (telinit 0, telinit 6 - halt and reboot
to the BSD people!), it always shuts down and effectively hangs. I
have to power cycle to get the system to reboot.

I had a look at the OEM manual and played with the reset jumpers,
without success - still the only way I have of restarting the system
is to cycle the power.

So:-
1. Is there something that can be done to make the system
be rebootable?

2. Has someone got a working reset button, and could they
publish the jumper settings and wiring, please.

Nigel.
