I don't have experience with Digital on these things, but I've had to deal
with returns of other OEM poducts to other manufacturers. They always stand
behind a claim that they offer a warranty only to OEMs, not to end users.
Well, if it's an OEM product and they sell it to you, you *are* an OEM (as far
as I'm concerned). The trick is to act like it. Make sure you use your
company name, and tell them that you're not going to incorporate their OEM
board into your next-generation virtual reality hypertext database engine
product (or whatever) if the "evaluation unit" you purchased doesn't work.
I hate to advocate outright lying in order to get things like this fixed, but
sometimes that's what it takes.
