Cool! I'll integrate your patch with my next kernel patch. You may
need to retest it after that.

Try it with OPTION_DISCONNECT disabled. If that doesn't help, use the
old driver (the one that doesn't know about synchronous transfers
etc.).

Same here. I think there is a problem in the flash rom utility.
Haven't tracked it down though.
