1. The UDP code still doesn't have the patch that makes it get the right
checksum.
2. The inet daemon or some other part of the networking code doesnt work
properly; the presence of an ftp connection prevents rlogin connections!
Instead they "hang" (looks like no select being done) until the ftp session is
ended.
