I don't follow this. As far as I can tell, there is no ioctl related
patch to ide.c in patch 1.3.74 (but then, I haven't had my coffee
yet...). Do you know why the problem showed with the Quantum drive
but not others? I just would like to know so we can avoid this
problem in the future.
