Yes, a DE435 card at an Alpha-XL -- No SMC-EtherPower card.

Should not -- there should be a ready-compiled SCSI-Script
with latter timestamp, than the source file.
... but then I do have PERL at that Alpha, and didn't
pay any attention to it.

... compile log (I always log the compile) shows no call of
script_asm.pl, and file dates in there are:

-rw-r--r-- 1 mea root 39421 Jan 6 15:31 53c7,8xx.scr
-rw-rw-r-- 1 mea root 58522 Apr 1 10:46 53c8xx_d.h
-rw-rw-r-- 1 mea root 2509 Apr 1 10:46 53c8xx_u.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 mea root 27646 Nov 5 05:25 script_asm.pl

that is, the SCSI-Script is from January, and the ready
made outputs are from April first. Something else is wrong,
if you need to run the script_asm.pl.
