Netscape

Hi.

I know there is no netscape for axp-linux, but I had read here, that
lot of people build program on their OSF machines and after static
linking the run on the axp-linux, too. My question is if that is
possible for the alpha-osf netscape or not. I don't know if there is
any dynamic linking. As far as I know do the netscape people link
everythink static to netscape or didn't they?

If it's impossible to use the osf-binary had someone asked them if
they probably would build a binary for axp-linux? I know that they had
demanded expensive fees for Solaris386, but I muse that they probably
do it for axp-linux, because I guess that they only have to link the
whole binary new completly static and besides that linux isn't such a
comercial product as Solaris.
