At last thursday, I sent a mail for helping build a linux kernel on
Digital unix with cc.
Andy and I builded a kernel and ... it works!
Compiled unpatched gcc-2.7.1 with cc and dec utilities (as, ld)
and gnu make.
Compiled Kernel V2.0 with gcc and again dec utilities
- No TGA support
- No Kernel modules support
- NIC DEC Tulip
- NCR 53C810
Booting from SRM
> boot dva0 -flags i
...
aboot> /vmlinux.gz load_ramdisk=1 root=/dev/fd0
...
insert a root disk from blade 0.3 (fdisk_root) and
get a shell prompt :-)
