Problems with SCSI devices

Hello,

I have a problem with 2 Quantum Atlas 4GB disks on my Noname board,
a 1GB IBM and a 240 MB Quantum run without problems, only these new disks
which I plan to run in RAID-0 mode make problems for example when
copying big files, I get error-messages like:
scsi0 : Danger : command running, cannot abort.
scsi : aborting command due to timeout.
And the system hangs - I can write down the error messages more exactly
if it helps...

I got these error-messages too when I mkfs-ed the 8GB RAID-0 partition
of the two disks.

These disks run fine on a Sparc 20 (I couldn't believe it, the 2GB Atlas
disks aren't even recognised with the probe-scsi)

Any hints?

Bye, Olaf
