Eric, the "problem" which Scott reported might not be that of early
versions. I have simular problem with early versions, which is gone
with 1.1.1, but today I noticed I have still some problem with 1.1.1
when it got "a realy lot of request" in short period.

The file with which I notice the problem is a simple html file like:

<HEAD><TITLE>TEST</TITLE><BODY>
<IMG SRC="a-image.gif> (repeat this same tag 100 or 200)....
</BODY></HTML>

This single html file might not looks cause any problem and you can
see 100 or 200 same graphic fine, but Apache will begin to work little
funny way after user request this file frequently.

I didn't track this down, but I think this is not a problem of apache,
but my own. my own setting.

I set MaxClient to 150 and KeepAlive to 10, TimeOut to 500 in
httpd.conf. With this setting, The number of httpd proccess will easly
reach it's limit, 150, and "clients will be LOOKED OUT", as the
comment in httpd.conf says.

How do you set these values in your httpd.conf? > Scott
