fixed-freq monitor on udb (redhat)?

we recently purchased a number of UDB's (VX-40's), and are looking for
short-format pci video cards capable of supporting some of the fixed-
frequency monitors that have accumulated in the departmental computer
museum. Mirage makes a 64-bit card based on the S3 968 chipset, but it
certainly ain't cheap. can anyone suggest an alternative?
