If you have somebody handy with a soldering iron, you can make those
converters (VGA-fixed frequency) fairly easy. If your monitors are
sync-on-green (three coaxial cables instead of five?), try searching
with altavista or some other such tool for sync on green. I've lost the
references, but that's how I found them.
A converter should set you back something like ...dunno....ten bucks or
so in parts.
