Alpha Cabrio does NOT boot! :(

We are having a major major problem. We have a DEC alpha motherboard
with a 275mhz chip. Diamond Stealth video card installed, and 4 chips
totalling 16megs. We dont get any video on the monitor from the video
card. We tried hooking up the COM1 to another machine, but that does
NOTHING either. So we tried the debug monitor SROM thingie,and hooked up
the funky DEC cable to the debug port on the mb,and all we get is a
series of "kkkkkkkkkk" on the other computer. We have it set to
9600-8N1. It cant be the motherboard, because we tried 3 different
boards.

Please Help!!!
