Installation Question

I have an alphastation 255 and I am trying to install redhat 4.1
on it. When I boot from SRM I get an Object File Format Error.
There is no Milo.img file for avanti so I assume I am just doing
something wrong and I can boot the install disk from SRM.
I have tried:
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1474560 Dec 23 22:23 avanti-s.img
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1474560 Dec 23 22:23 avanti.img
but neither works.

I am using :

>>>boot dva0

to try the boot.
