gprof and ELF

Hi,

so today's question is: is there an ELF version of gprof for the Alpha?

gcc -p loopc.c
./a.out
gprof gmon.out

=> gprof: gmon.out: not in a.out format

rpm -qf /usr/bin/gprof -> binutils-2.7.0.2-4
