164sx and clock weirdness?

I just got a 164sx recently, and I've noticed some real weirdness with the
clock. It seems the computer clock gains two seconds for every real
second that passes. This happens under NT or linux 2.1.89. Sometimes
when I cold boot into 2.0.30, it goes at the normal speed, but then
something comes along and makes it run at double speed again.
Has anyone else seen anything like this? Is my board hosed? Any help
would be appreciated.
