Hello to all, I'm having trouble installing linux on an alphastation200(4)/100.

Using SRM
----------------
*) The alphastation hangs after loading vmlinux.gz and jumping to the linux kernel, no matter how I do it : serial or keyboard+VGAmonitor+S3. Any suggestions? I've just updated to firmware 6.7 the alphstation so that can't be it (it *is* old though... 1995 I think), there are no special things about it either... just a sound card and the tulip, an SCSI hard drive and an ethernet adaptater. I've tried getting rid of the sound card and that still doesn't help. Any clues?

Using ARC
-------------
*) it asks me to set the correct time and date because they are set to 255/255/23545 and 243:XX:YY, rubbish as you can see, but when I enter sensible values it kicks answers that the date/time is illegal !! I don't understand why...

Also, since I can't seem to have the kernel work with MILO I'd like to try aboot but I don't have access to a linux alpha or a cross-compiler and I can't find images (point me to one if such a thing exists !). Could someone send me a compile milo.bootp to use aboot through bootp?

Thanks
