There has been some extensive discussion about this on the
comp.os.linux.alpha newsgroup. The recommended fix is to update the
version of /sbin/clock with a new one from
ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/DEC/Linux-Alpha
and if that doesn't totally fix it, update the version of MILO, maybe to a
'test' version even.
