my 2 bits are:
I purchased ( well my work did ) a Alpha Server 1000A 5/333 about 6
months ago.
It came with 64 Mb of memory, 1-1Gig and 1-4Gig Scsi drives.
a chintsy vidoeo card, and a small monitor and a Dec ethernet card
It seemed very reasonable to me at roughly $11,000.
( brand new from Comport )
I was a little nervous when I realized that there was no official port
of Linux for it-
but this list helped me get over that!
