Re: make menuconfig, no selection for ncr53c8xx or ncr53c7xx/8xx

It's been a while since I've dealt with this, but I think there is a bug
in the kernel makefile/config scripts so that for some motherboards (all
motherboards?) whether it supports pci cards or not doesn't get set
properly.

If this is your problem, edit the file config.in in arch/alpha and set
CONFIG_PCI explicitly.

Has anyone else experienced this problem. I've had it with the pc164lx
board. Maybe we can track this and get it fixed?
