I am installing RedHat 5 on a PC164SX. The basic installation was no problem. However, once I tried to set up EM86 I ran into some trouble.
Let me first say that I have done this exact procedure many times with the PC164LX boards with no problems. The problem I am having with the SX is this -- I cannot get a kernel from the stock 2.0.30 tree (with Alpha patches) to boot. The kernels from the RedHat tree boot fine. Can any one give me a lead on what to try?
