I experienced random "hangs" with an original 2.1.102...
But I have to say, that I compiled it with gcc-2.7.2.1 which is not
the recommended thing to do. The overall performance seemed to be
much better with kernels 2.1.x than with 2.0.32 though.
Just an impression.
