Hi to all,
I'd like to ask you for little help .
I am trying to install RH Linux 5.0 on DEC Alpha 500a with
128 ram , QLogic SCSI controller. I can successfully load
milo, but from here I try to boot the appropriate boot image
from floppy , I can see it going till it tries to unzip vmlinux.gz ,
success here, after that the screen is blank . I got no output on my
screen.
However, I am 100% positive that the installation keeps going.
I've done this numerous times and I know I'll
be prompted for ramdisk , thus after about a minute or two I insert the

ramdisk into the floppy drive and can clearly see that the floppy is
red.
But still can get an any output except this little line at the left
corner during
the boot and than around the middle portion - that's when you get the
RH menu.
Thanks for any insights
Sincerely

George Klimes
