New linux clients in RPM form for various RedHat instances have been
released for Linux-i386 (against RH5.0), Linux-alpha (against RH5.0),
Linux-sparc (against RH4.2) and Linux-mips (against CobaltMicro 2.2).
The tradition nsr_ize has been dumped for these releases in favor
of the standard RedHat packaging tool (Redhat Package Manager).
This is not really a new release per se, as it is still based upon
a April 1998 snapshort. An August snapshot is being built as I write
this but won't be released for a month likely. The purpose of this
release is to get the other architectures supported and the new
packages out there and feedback on how this works.
