First of all, is it possible to build milo based on 2.1 kernels?
I need this because of several problems with existing milo's on
PC164 and kernel-2.1.117 (and older 2.1).
1. milo cannot load vmlinux.gz from msdos partition, says something
about corrupted filesystem, but the fs is ok since I can read/write it
under 2.1 kernel (and actually under 2.0 - it is just milo I think)
2. cannot reboot from kernel 2.1 - it hangs during milo re-initialization,
just after printing amount of RAM.
3. Recently I plugged in cd-rom MATSHITA CR-8004A, and milo hangs when scanning
the scsi bus. It does not happen with kernel 2.1.117. Currently I turn off
the cd, boot milo, then turn the cd on and kernel finds it.
The scsi host is adaptec AHA-294X.
The last one can be probably cured by building milo with the latest adaptec
driver, which I'm going to do if it is impossible to build it with 2.1.
