I've never tried it on an Alpha, but I know RH5.2 installs just
fine on serial console on a Sparc. So it's not inconcevable
that it will work.

Note that some DEC boxes won't boot without a bleeding keyboard
plugged in. I had this problem with an old turbochannel alpha
I was running headless once upon a time. I don't know if this
is true of rawhide.
